Mark A. Luiso, a resident of Everett and formerly of Charlestown, entered into eternal life tragically while protecting his son on Monday, August 8, 2022. He was 45 years of age.
Mark was born in Cambridge on July 1, 1977, a son of June Baker and the late Donna (Hennessey) Hartung. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Revere High School. Mark was recently working for Allied Security at the Schrafft’s Center in Charlestown. He previously worked as a drug and alcohol counselor at the Bournewood Hospital in Brookline. He enjoyed working on cars(especially his Monte Carlo), giving tattoos, and caring for his children and family members.
Mark is the beloved 9 year husband and 17 year partner of Michelle N. (LaRose) Luiso. He is the devoted father of Anthony, Devon, and Justin. He is the loving brother of Tricia Avery and her husband Donald, and Janet Hartung. He is the beloved uncle of Eric, Kaileen, Adam, Sloane and Grant. He is the dear son-in-law of Debbie and Jack Winer, and brother-in-law of John Winer and his wife Shauna. He is the nephew of Fred Baker and his wife Linda, Gloria Surrette, and Mary DiChicco. He is the cousin of Tiffany and Jack O’Brien, Fred Baker III, and also many more loving cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mark’s Funeral on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 10 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by his Funeral Mass at 11 A.M. in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. His burial will be private. His visiting hours will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022 from 3 P.M. to 7 P.M. in the funeral home.
