Donald "Donnie" Lee Harless

Donald "Donnie" Lee Harless, 55, passed away August 7, 2022 surrounded by family at his home after battling cancer.
He was preceded in death by his late wife, Jamie Harless, and granddaughter, Kayla Harless.
Donnie is survived by his wife, Mary Harless; parents, Joe and Arnetta Harless; seven children; 17 grandchildren; two brothers, Ronald (Lisa) and Jeffrey (Tosha) Harless ; several nieces and nephews.
Donnie, a native of Anderson, worked as a machine operator for Toray. He was very active and enjoyed being outdoors. Donnie could always be found by a fire, in a canoe, fishing or gigging frogs. If it was fun, Donnie was there.
We will miss all the times we said "Love is in the Air", but our memories will last forever. He was admired by many. He was a man of his word. He worked hard and partied harder. Donnie was a true lover of life and he would have done anything for anyone who asked. He left us too soon and will be missed. All who have known him can say that they have learned from him and in this his memory will live forever.
A celebration of life will be held and the Anderson Eagles, 1315 Meridian Street beginning at 3 PM this Saturday, August 13, 2022.
