Rosellen “Rose” (Renaud) LePage
February 1953 - June 2022
Rosellen LePage passed away suddenly at her home in North Tiverton, RI on Sunday the 19th of June.
Born and raised in Fall River, Rose lived in the Berkshires of Massachusetts for years. While living there she raised and showed lop eared bunnies at several country fairs and circuits. Upon leaving the Berkshires, she returned to the Westport/Fall River area.
She worked in the local manufacturing/textile industry, as a stitcher, for many years. She also pursued a career working with the intellectually and physically challenged, both in Massachusetts and Rhode Island including at Hillcrest Educational Centers.
A longtime passion of hers was sewing. She would often take on seamstress jobs and provide private sewing classes . It brought her great joy seeing her students wear an item of clothing they created with her. She was always in search for a new place to buy fabrics.
She had a love for all animals, especially her fur babies, Salem, Ebony, TC and Chubbs and the lop eared rabbits she had raised
Rose was preceded in death by her mother, M. Evelyn Lawton and sister Gladys E. (Renaud) Shelly. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Dunlop, son in law Alex and grandchildren Jean and Thomas, all of Coventry UK.
Following final arrangements by Potter Funeral Home, her ashes will be scattered privately in Mount Hope Bay. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the National Cat Protection Society or the Autism Society of America.
