Devoted wife of the late James Van den Broeke, Sr. Beloved mother of Darleen Rahman and Virginia Maicke both of Florida, Patrick Furlong of Oregon, James Van den Broeke, Jr. and his fiancee, Debbie Tavella of Winthrop and Vivian Epps and Vernon Furlong. Dear sister of Patricia Eide and Mary Compton both of Florida and Ted and Joe St. George both Boston. Cherished grandmother of Kenny Maicke of Florida, Angela Lang of Wisconsin, Michael Van den Broeke of Boston, Maria and Kristy Furlong of Wisconsin, James Bray of Wakefield and Leanna, Justin, Nickolas and Joey Van den Broeke all of Winthrop and Richie Harger of Wisconsin. Also lovingly survived by her great grandchildren, Devan, Eliana and Nathan Lang all of Wisconsin as well as many nieces and nephews. A family Graveside Service was held on Monday Afternoon at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, Jean, at 80 years of age, was a long time Chelsea resident, who devoted all her time for providing and taking care of her children and great grandchildren. After months of decling health, Jean passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston last Thursday evening.
