On the morning of August 3rd, Margaret "Peggy" Rusk passed away peacefully at home. Peg was born to Harriet and Leo Rusk in Boston. She was an entrepreneur, adventurer, and free spirit. She married and gave birth to her son, Matt Soule, and then committed herself to motherhood. She became the greatest mother known to existence, while running her own business and raising several fine canines as well. She liked dogs more than people; nevertheless, she maintained important relationships and was known to be a great storyteller. Peg also worked for the city of Boston for a while, even after battling cancer three times. For about a decade, She endured more pain and suffering than anyone you know. She was a fighter - tough as nails, stubborn as could be and she fought until the very last breath. In that final moment, a single tear rolled down her cheek and she accepted eternal peace. She was satisfied with her life’s work. Peg is survived by her loving son, Matt, and his fiancée Alejandra Ballesteros. She is also survived by her loyal dog, Bustah, who was always by her side. Additionally, Peg is survived by her siblings: Charles (Eddie) Leigh and his wife, Janet; Nancy (Rusk) Fish and her husband, Nick; Bonnie Rusk Coale; Billy Rusk and his wife, Cheryl; and Dean Rusk and his wife Linda. She is also survived by her sister in law, Joanne (Scanlon) Rusk, and many loving nieces and nephews. Peg was preceded in death by her father Leo Rusk, her mother Harriet (Hancock) Rusk, and her brother, Leo Rusk, Jr.
