Stephen G. Giordano, of Stoneham, formerly of Medford, passed away on August, 4th. He was 65. Born and raised in Medford, he was the cherished son of the late Joseph P. and Bertha F. (Girard) Giordano. Steve graduated from Medford High School and went on to graduate from Middlesex Community College, where he earned his associates degree in Business Administration.
Steve enjoyed a 30+ year career as an Automotive Damage Appraiser and worked for several companies before retiring in October of 2021. He spent this past year traveling around the country extensively enjoying his passion for classic cars at the Mecum Auto Auctions, where he made many new friends. While at the auction locations, Steve made it a point to take side trips to visit family members near these locations, taking on the role of “Family Ambassador”.
Steve’s many interests included cars, music, and family. He started playing drums at age 10 and served as the longtime drummer for the Praise Band at Faith Lutheran Church in Andover, and more recently for The GioTrio. All who knew him will sorely miss his talents, as well as his big smile and bear hugs.
Steve was the dear brother of Dr. Joseph P. Giordano Jr., and his wife Peggy of Andover, MA, and Patricia A. “Trisha” Giordano, of Berlin, MA. He was the loving uncle of Eric N. Giordano, and Dr. Elisa E. Giordano and her husband Rex Graham. He was the caring great uncle of Violet and Rex Graham, and the loving step father of Kiana and Michaela Morano.
