On August 2, 2022, Barbara J. (Brewster) Brown, 84, joined the love of her life, Robert E. Brown, to continue their journey together in heaven that started on earth in 1955.
Barbara lived most of her life in Anderson. She retired from Kittleās Furniture and was co-owner and bookkeeper for Bob Brown Auto Body. She was a member of WIVES Home Economics Club, Evening Star Quilt Guild and Red Bud Quilt Club. Barb enjoyed gardening and loved to cook and was known for her delicious yeast rolls. She was a seamstress and quilter, sewing for other people early in her life and designing and making wedding gowns for her daughters. She enjoyed going on cruises and traveling with Robert to car shows, races and road rallies.
Barb is survived by her daughters, Debra Weisbrod and Robin Brown; grandchildren, S. Renee Weisbrod, Diane (Chris) Bayer, Tracy (Darin) Hoover and Micah Robert Brown; brother, Phillip (Carol) Brewster; Sisters-in-law, Louise Yeager, Joann Couch, Barbara Brewster and many nieces and nephews.
Barb was preceded in death by her parents, George and Martha (Skinner) Brewster; baby daughter, Patricia; brother, Richard Brewster and in-laws, Kenneth (Alice) Brown, Carolyn Schweitzer and Pauline Williamson.
Please join the family at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service on Friday from 5 to 8 pm for visitation and Saturday at 10:30 for the funeral. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.
