Raymond B. Allen, age 89, died on Sunday August 04, 2002 at the Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Canton.
He was born on May 24, 1913. Mr. Allen was a resident of Medford for over 20 years before moving to the south shore.
Raymond married his beloved bride, the late Sarah Neal in June of 1950 in Boston. He was employed as a supervisor for the government for over 20 years. Raymond was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is the loving father of Howard Neal and Mary Allen-Irish, both of Randolph, Raymond Allen of Brockton, Jane Allen of Burlington, Anita Allen of Brighton and James Allen of Haverhill. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
His funeral service will be held in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Thursday at 1 PM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours prior to the service from 11:00 to 1:00 PM. Interment, Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
