Marsha M. Simmler, 79, a lifelong resident of Franklin MA, passed away peacefully in Dennisport, Ma with her family by her side on Sunday August 7,2022 after a short battle with glioblastoma. She was a beloved daughter of the late Daniel A Crosta and Gemma E Tosti (Crosta).
She was happily married for over 50 years to the love of her life, the late Robert W. Simmler Esq. Marsha is survived by two sons, Christopher Simmler and his wife Norine of Falmouth MA; and Jason Simmler and his wife Rochelle of Las Vegas NV. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Ryan Simmler, Alex Simmler, Shannon McEvoy, Matthew Simmler and Nicholas Simmler. She is survived by her sister, Deborah Pellegri, husband Ronald, nephew Michael Pellegri and family; and niece Rona Earl and family.
Marsha was a graduate of Franklin High School, Class of 1960. She graduated in 1963 from Framingham Union Hospital School of Nursing where she became a registered nurse and went on to spend a 44-year career as an Operating Room nurse at Milford Whitinsville Regional Hospital.
Marsha enjoyed cooking and feeding friends and family with a variety of delicious meals. She and her husband spent nearly every moment together either at their Franklin home, their Dennisport condominium, traveling to Bermuda, Nassau and Treasure Island FL – always with friends by their side.
She was a devout Christian and long-time member of St Mary’s Parish and The Women’s Club.
Marsha will be greatly missed by family, friends and her beloved dog Mash.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Friday August 12th, at 9AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Franklin at 10AM.
Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
