Edward L. Miller, 85, of Fairhaven, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 5, 2022. He was the husband of the late Glenda C. (Cotter) Miller.
Born in Boston, son of the late Louis and Katherine (Silverstein) Miller, he lived in Fairhaven most of his life.
Ed loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was an avid New England sports fan. He enjoyed traveling with Glenda. Ed spent a lot of his time at the Fairhaven senior center.
Ed worked in advertising sales at the New Bedford Standard-Times for 27 years.
Survivors include his daughter, Suzanne Mendonca and her husband Maurice of Norton, MA; 4 sons, Scott Miller and his wife Lori of Acushnet, David Miller of Holt, MI; Richard Miller of Stoughton and Greg Miller and his wife Laura of Norton, MA; a brother Allen Miller and his wife Davida; his grandchildren Kylie and Cameron Mendonca, Cody, Ragan, and Rylee Miller, and Brian, Taylor and Julia Miller; his beloved dog Tessie; and a niece, a nephew and many cousins.
He is predeceased by his daughter-in-law Lisa.
A graveside service will be held for Ed at Riverside Cemetery on Friday, August 19, 2022 at 1 PM.
