Obituary

WORCESTER: Viola I. (Duquette) Kittredge, 86, of 5 Fales St., died Monday, May 15, 2006 in Overlook Masonic Health Center, Charlton. Her husband of 49 years, George D. Kittredge, died May 26, 1994.
She leaves three brothers, Donald Duquette and Ralph Duquette, both of Whitinsville, Robert Duquette of West Virginia; and many nieces and nephews. Four Sisters, Julie Polastri, Pearl Jones, Dorothy Boutilier, and Joyce Noel, all predeceased her.
She was born in North Uxbridge, daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Carpenter) Duquette. She graduated from Northbridge High School in 1937 and Worcester Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1940. She lived in Worcester, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island, returning to Worcester in 1976.
Viola was a registered nurse and worked in hospitals for many years. She was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church.
A CALLING HOUR will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 18, in KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St., followed by a FUNERAL MASS at 10 a.m. in OUR LADY OF THE ROSARY CHURCH, 25 Fales St. Entombment will follow in St. John's Cemetery Mausoleum.
The family suggests donations in Viola's memory be made to the Mercy Centre, 25 West Chester St., Worcester, MA 01605.
