Mr. Daniel E. King, a resident of Lawrence and beloved husband of Brenda J. (St. Germain) King, passed away at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill on Friday morning, August 5, 2022. He was 65 years old.
Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, on January 16, 1957, he was the beloved son of the late Thomas and Carolyn King. Dan worked as a Sales Representative for Napa Auto Parts for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing cards, especially 45s and poker. He was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed playing baseball in his youth. He also loved playing golf, listening to 70s classic rock music, and walking his dog, Winston. Dan had a wonderful sense of humor and was a very devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed.
Besides his beloved wife of 45 years (and high school sweetheart) Brenda, he is survived by his loving children Danielle and her husband Tanner Colby of Williamstown, MA, Chris King and his wife Alena Herasimovich of New York, NY and Elizabeth and her husband Brian Carey of Wells, ME; brother Thomas and his wife Colleen King of Hampstead, New Hampshire; grandchildren Dashiell, Theodore, Silas and Madeline; several nieces and nephews; and his dog Winston. He was also the brother of the late Michael King.
His funeral service will be held at the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 5:30PM. Calling hours will be held in the funeral home, prior to the service, from 2:30 to 5:30PM. Interment will be privately held.
