Dolores M. (Borges) Nardone, age 98, of Tewksbury passed away on Thursday, August 4th, in the Kaplan Family Hospice House of Danvers. Raised and educated in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Maria L. (Goulart) Borges. Dolores lived for many years in Somerville before moving to Tewksbury in 1988. She was employed as the Forelady of a distillery.
Dolores was the beloved wife of the Late Michael J. Nardone, Jr., and the devoted mother of Rosemarie DeAngelis and her husband John of Tewksbury, and Michael J. Nardone, III of Batavia, New York. She was the loving grandmother of Nicole M. DeAngelis, Michael J. DeAngelis, Melody Marie Nardone, Michael J. Nardone IV, Michael Angelo Nardone, Michelle Amoia and Doria Nardone, and the cherished great grandmother of Amber, Katrina and Melissa. Dolores was the dear sister of Natalie Scannell of Medford and her late husband Daniel J., and Joseph Borges and his wife Ann of New Hampshire. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, Tuesday, August 9th at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family from 8:30 through 10:30 AM in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
