Jean P. Sullivan
Dedicated Nurse for 41 years
Jean P. (Brothers) Sullivan, age 70, a member of a well-known Tewksbury family, passed away at the Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln on Monday, August 1, 2022, following a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Born in Everett on March 11, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Phyllis J. (Kerrigan) Brothers and the late George F. Brothers.
Jean grew up in South Tewksbury, attended local schools, and graduated from the Tewksbury Hospital School of Nursing in 1981 with the highest grade received on the Massachusetts State Board Nursing Examination.
Jean worked as a nurse and was a highly regarded member of the team at the Tewksbury Family Care Center for many years.
She will fondly be remembered for her outgoing personality, quick wit, tremendous sense of humor, legendary jokes, and her love for engaging conversations on hot topics and politics.
Jean enjoyed traveling and traveled extensively with family and friends.
Family members include her daughter, Dawn Breuer, her son, Matthew Sullivan: her grandchildren, Madison, Nathan, and Owen Breuer: her siblings, Robin Marion, George Brothers, Jr., Patrick Brothers, Maureen Degon, William Brothers, Tracy Spinos, and the late Karen Cook. Jean was the loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
