Carol A. Grigas, age 85, passed away in the comfort of her home on Saturday, July 30, 2022, after a period of failing health. She was the wife of Michael Grigas for over 41 years. She was born in Boston on December 23, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Mildred LeRoy. She was pre-deceased by her grandparents, William and Clemintine LeRoy who were instrumental in helping to raise Carol to the person she became in adulthood. She had formerly lived in Brockton and W. Bridgewater and had been a resident of East Bridgewater since 1982.
Carol had been employed at Esselte Meto, located in the Randolph Industrial Park as a Machine Operator and until it’s closing in W. Bridgewater, the Cape Cod/Cricket Lane Company as a Ticketer. She loved to do arts and crafts, bake and was an avid reader but her true passion was spending time with her family.
In addition to her beloved husband, Michael Grigas, she leaves her children; Patricia Mann and her partner Robert Martins of E. Bridgewater, David Keith of Foxboro, Alan Keith and his wife Kathie of E. Taunton and Brian Keith of E. Bridgewater; and a stepdaughter Joan Keith of Winter Haven, FL. She was the beloved grandmother of Jennifer Mann, Kristy Gendreau, Dana Keith, Madison Martins and the late James Mann, Jr; cherished great grandmother of Alanna Vaughn, Leiara Gonzalez-Guerra, Breydan Gendreau and Ella Gendreau. She also leaves a brother, Robert LeRoy of Bridgewater.
A private graveside service will be held at Pine Hill Cemetery, W. Bridgewater.
Carol’s family would like to thank the Hospice aides, nurses and support staff at AccentCare Hospice of Fall River for their wonderful care and supportive help to the family.
