Maureen T. Farrell, 69, of Wellesley, formerly of Needham, died peacefully and comfortably on July 26, 2022 following a period of declining health.
She was born in Brooklyn, NY on November 9, 1952 a daughter of the late Stephen M. Farrell and Mary T. (McGovern) Farrell.
Maureen was the beloved sister of Dolores E. Ryan and her husband John of New London, NH, formerly of Weston; Loretta C. Holden and her husband Mark of Westwood and Thomas K. Farrell of Hyannis. Cherished aunt of two nieces and four nephews and adored great-aunt of several great nieces and great nephews.
Maureen spent her formative years in New Jersey and was a graduate of Riverdell High School in Oradell, New Jersey. She was an LPN for several years in New Jersey as well as at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She retired as a Bank Clerk from Rockland Trust Company.
Maureen had an outgoing personality, was a good friend and enjoyed time spent with her family. She loved to take drives with her friends and was devoted to her dogs. Maureen will be missed by all of the lives that she touched in her 69 years.
At the request of her family, private funeral services and interment with her parents in Linwood Cemetery in Weston will be held.
In lieu of flowers, her family kindly suggests that gifts in Maureen’s memory may be sent to the charity of the donor’s choice.
