Thomas W. “Bill” Lynch of Franklin, formerly of Dedham passed away August 1st. Born in Boston, he was raised in Hyde Park and graduated from Roxbury Memorial High School and was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He worked for Mass Envelope in Boston, Harwich Lithograph and Rivkind Associates in Stoughton before retiring in 2003. He also worked for Lechmere in Dedham for many years. Bill was a member of the Most Precious Blood Crusaders, the K of C in Hyde Park, and the VFW Bowling League in Dedham. He was also an avid Boston Sports Fan and loved scratch tickets.
Beloved husband of Catherine E. (Adams). Father of Kathleen M. McNamara and her late husband Ned of Walpole, William J. Lynch and his wife Kristen of Franklin, Pamela J. Ulrickson and her husband Scott of Franklin, and John G. Lynch and his wife Judy of Abington. Brother of Patricia Belanger and her husband Robert of Dedham and the late Doris Colantoni and her husband Mario of Osterville. Grandfather of Jessica, Nicole, and J.T. McNamara, Kasey, Billy, Alanna, and Ethan Lynch, Jason and Christopher Ulrickson, Johnny, Vicky, and Sami Lynch. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Thursday 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The visitation will be concluded by a funeral service at the funeral home Thursday at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
