Worcester - George W. Lundberg, Jr. 78, passed away peacefully at home on July 29, 2022. He leaves behind his daughter Jennifer Lundberg; two granddaughters Valerie E. Nietsche and Faye M. Lucas and several nieces and nephews. His wife of 43 years, Nancy J. (Erickson) Lundberg, and 3 brothers- Raymond, Kenneth, and Harry predeceased him.
George was born in Worcester, son of the late George Lundberg Sr. and Sara (Ljungberg) Lundberg. He graduated from Lincoln Sudbury High School class of 1962 and proudly served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked for many years in Plant 7 in the mixing and molding department at the former Norton Company. He also worked at Spag's and Economy Paint. He enjoyed gardening, sports, reading, watching science fiction movies, and listening to music. He was a member of the American Legion Post 0234 and the Tin Can Sailors.
All services will be private. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street is assisting the family with arrangements.
