Laura Brown Noboa, 57, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Friday, July 29, 2022, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Monday, August 1, 2022, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Dewain Joiner and Minister Teressa McDuffie officiating. Interment will follow in Troup Cemetery, Ben Hill County. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Sunday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Noboa was born December 19, 1964, in Douglas, Georgia, to Dorothy Nell Hulett Brown of Fitzgerald and the late Fredrick Joshua Brown, III. She was a 1984 graduate of Irwin County High School and earned a medical assistant Associates degree from New England Institute of Technology in West Palm Beach, Florida. She worked for Fitzgerald Underwear, Shaw Industries, and American Blanching. She enjoyed crafts and crocheting as well as decorating with flowers. Her love was visiting the beach and looking for shark teeth. She enjoyed listening to gospel music and attended the Fitzgerald Church of God.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Armando Noboa of Fitzgerald; children: Joshua Alexander Noboa of Fitzgerald, Joey Noboa of Irwinville, and Alyssa & Michael Lott of Irwinville; grandchildren: Hellena Noboa, Alexis Noboa, Melody Noboa, Caleb Wilkerson, and Aaron Lott; a sister, Doris Brown Harper of Flowery Branch; and two brothers: Fredrick Joshua Brown, IV & Patricia of Leavenworth, Kansas and James Roy Brown of Fitzgerald. Special friends also survive: Kathy Oyster, Lorey Johnson, and Jim Sampson. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents: Roy & Blanche Hulett and Fred & Laura Brown.
