CIPRIANO, Albert E., Jr. of Rockland formerly of West Roxbury, passed away on July 26, 2022. Devoted father of Eva-Lynn Whalen of Maryland, Cynthia and husband Mark Saffer of New Hampshire, and Catherine Cipriano and fiancé Alfred (Buddy) King of Brockton. Grandfather to Sara and husband David Alderson, Tia Whalen, Joshua Rich, Paul Barrows, and Jesse Rich. Great-grandfather to Jack Alderson. Friend to former spouse Lynda Riser of Abington. Beloved Son of the late Albert E. Sr. and Edith Eva Cipriano.
Al served in the U.S. Navy for 10 years. His favorite ship to be stationed on was the USS Newport News out of Virginia.
He retired from Stone & Webster where he worked as a Project Engineer for many years.
Visiting hours will be held at the P.E. Murray-F.J. Higgins George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Centre St., West Roxbury on Sunday, July 31 from 2:00-5:00pm. Relatives and friends kindly invited. A committal service will be held on Monday, Aug. 1 at 12:30pm at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
