Obituary

William John “Bill” Saulnier, 60, of Derry, NH passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, July 26th, 2022, after a long battle with cancer. He was born on January 15th, 1962, in Lynn, Massachusetts. He grew up in Hampstead, NH and lived many years in Derry and Salem, NH. Bill was a master of his trade as a vinyl sider and his work can be seen on almost every street in Southern NH and on many streets in Massachusetts. He was an amazing artist and wood carver. He enjoyed music, instruments, antique cars, collectables and outdoor activities such as hiking and camping. Bill was an animal lover and often kept them as pets. He had a kind heart and always made friends wherever he went. He will be remembered for his compassion and sense of humor.

He is survived by his parents, Thomas and Grace (Curtin) Lennon of Derry, and Bradenton, FL, his father, John A. Saulnier and his wife Janet of Salem, NH, his companion Alyson Merchant of Manchester, NH, two sons, Michael Saulnier and Andrew Saulnier, both of Nashua, NH, two daughters, Brittany Cook and Desiree Cook, both of Salem, four grandchildren, Jacob, Nayeli, Paisley and Evelyn, three sisters, Natalie Blanchette of York, SC, Wendy Townsend of Bradenton, FL, and Dawn Lennon of Londonderry, NH, also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 2nd from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A Time of sharing will start at 6:30pm. Mask usage is at the discretion of the attendee.
