Jean C. Milne, 80, of Nashua, NH, passed away on Tuesday July 26, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Everett, MA on August 11, 1941, a daughter of the late Eldon and Bella (Collins) Bonnar. Jean was a longtime resident of Londonderry, NH, having moved to Hollis, NH in 2014, and more recently to Nashua, NH.
Jean, also known as “Tootie”, by those that knew her well, was raised in both Brighton, MA and Derry, NH. Jean loved her family beyond measure and devoted her life to her husband, children and grandchildren. Through the years she worked as a bookkeeper, homemaker and medical office manager. Jean enjoyed reading, gardening, and had a passion for cooking for those she cared about. Throughout Jean’s life, she adored many of her cherished pet cats and dogs. She was a constant presence alongside her children and grandchildren, as they participated in sports and celebrated life’s milestones. Some of her most precious moments were spent with her husband, family and friends on vacations.
She is survived by two daughters, Janice DeCarteret and her husband Edward of Nashua, NH and Heather Faucher and her husband Chris of Fort Lauderdale, FL; a son, Francis Milne IV and his wife Shari of Salem, NH; eight grandchildren, Andrew, Aaron, Alyssa, Madison, Kyle, Dominique, Nicolas and Jacquelyn; predeceased one sister Lois Garland of Ayer, MA, and brothers Tom Bonnar and husband Mathew Gavin of Marietta, GA, Richard Bonnar and predeceased wife Christine Bonnar, of Concord, NH. She was predeceased by one brother Robert Bonnar and wife Diana Bonnar, of Merrimack, NH. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis G. “Frank” Milne, III in 2019.
Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Monday August 1, 2022 from 4 – 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Private burial will be alongside her husband in Pillsbury Cemetery, Londonderry.
