Worcester – Darrell Gallivan, 45 of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Thursday, July 21, 2022 after being stricken ill.
Darrell is survived by his two children, Sean Gallivan and Siobhan Gallivan both of Worcester; his mother, Imelda (O’Sullivan) Gallivan of Worcester; a brother, Andrew Gallivan and his wife, Marisa of West Bridgewater, MA; his two sisters, Kerry Karman and her fiancée, Michael Donohue of Worcester and Edwina Gallivan of Worcester; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Darrell was born in Worcester and graduated from Doherty High School and then furthered his education at the Porter Chester Institute where he studied to be an HVAC technician and worked in the field for many years.
Darrell was a member of the YMCA and loved to work out and take walks, but he was truly the happiest when he was with his family. They will cherish his larger than life loving and generous personality. He could often be found cooking a meal for all of his family and friends or watching a football game explaining to others, what was going to happen next.
