Kayren Gay, 57, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, July 25, 2022, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Thursday, July 28, 2022, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. William Villers officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
Mrs. Gay was born December 3, 1964, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Virgil Lee Jones and Loretta Raffield. She loved the outdoors, growing flowers and riding motorcycles. Mrs. Gay also was a dog breeder.
She is survived by two children: Misty Nation and Michael & Heather Nation; seven grandchildren: Austin Raffield, McKenna Pressley, Brylee Pressley, Zoie West, Carsen Nation, Garrett Campbell and Kylee Walsh; a sister, Brenda & Jimmy Kent and three brothers: Robert Gerks, Jeff Gerks and Ricky Gerks. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Shes preceded in death by two brothers, Jimbo Raffield and Danny Raffield.
