Worcester – Michael E. Jacques, 53, of Worcester, passed away in his home on Saturday, July 23, 2022 after unexpectedly being stricken ill.
Michael is survived by his two sons, Kevin D. Jacques and his fiancée, Rebecca Harding of Sheboygan, WI and Christopher J. Jacques of Worcester; his mother, Claire (Gingras) Perrault and her husband, George of Worcester; his father, Laurent “Larry” Jacques and his wife, Margaret of Auburn; his former wife, Paula (Hernandez) Jacques of Worcester; a step-son, Anthony Rolon of Boston; a brother, Marc J. Jacques of Worcester; a sister, Deborah A. Sharleville of Worcester; a half-sister, Brenda Joyal of Worcester and a niece, Danielle Jacques of Chicago, IL.
Mr. Jacques was born in Worcester and graduated from North High School. Michael proudly served his country in the United States Army and later worked for the past 14 years as a fork lift operator at Imperial Distributors.
He was an avid reader, always enjoyed a good crossword puzzle and never missed the Three Stooges Marathon on New Year’s Eve, but he was truly the happiest when he was with his family watching football on Sunday afternoon or his favorite sports team, the Boston Celtics.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 29 at 11 AM in Notre Dame Cemetery 162 Webster Street. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 28, from 5 to 7 PM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester. Memorial contributions in memory of Mike may be made to the American Heart Association 33 5th Avenue Waltham, MA 02451.
