WEBSTER - Lucille “Teo” (Trahan) Blood, 71, died Monday, July 25, 2022 at home in the presence of her family.
She leaves her husband of 33 years, Robert W. Blood, Sr.; 4 children: Heather Casey and her husband Mitch of Dennis, Nequel Germano and her husband Anthony of Webster, Barre Yeagher and his wife Shayna of Woodinville, WA, and Nova Frank and her husband Damian of Bothell, WA; 12 grandchildren: Jennifer and Joshua Casey, Ryan, Isabelle, and Iris Lathrop, Angela Miller, Nathan Yeagher, Gabriel, Gregory, and Kailey Frank, Emily Sasner and Nicholas Germano; 3 great-grandchildren: Nora,Ronan, and Lincoln; a brother, George Trahan and his wife Gladys of Arizona; 5 sisters: Patricia Matte, Shirley Splaine and her husband Ronald, and Marie Paine, all of Southbridge, Jeannette Leazot of Texas, and Carol Sullivan of Dudley; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert W. Blood, Jr. in 2014 and by her brother, Roland Trahan.
She was born on April 11, 1951, in Southbridge, and raised there. She was the youngest child of George and Genevieve (Wetnicka) Trahan. She graduated from Mary E. Wells High School. Lucille lived all of her adult life in Webster.
Lucille owned and operated a Montgomery Ward catalog store in Webster. Later, she owned and operated TEAL Realty until 1990. She also worked as an independent health care aide. She was passionate about helping patients and was close with them and their families.
She was a member of the Webster/Dudley Historical Society and the Dudley Grange. She enjoyed leading Girl Scout troops with her children when they were young. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Oxford. She liked to play Facebook games, watch game shows, and bake banana bread for her grandchildren. Her life was dedicated to her family.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, July 27, in the Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main St, Webster. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 28, at 11:00 AM in Scanlon Funeral Service. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery. Donations in her name may be made to Care Central VNA/Hospice, 534 School St., Webster, MA 01570. Flowers are welcome.
