Tewksbury Donna Maria Connors, 72, passed away on July 22, 2022 surrounded by her family, listening to her favorite song, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. She is now reunited with her spouse of 40 years, Bob,who passed in 2017.
She was born in Woburn on October 20, 1949, daughter of the late Arthur Silva and the late Mary (Cronin) Silva. She grew up in Woburn, and had fond memories of her childhood on Kennedy Rd. She retired from Lahey Clinic, where she had worked for many years.
She loved to spend time with her family and friends. Hosting her Christmas party, cookouts at her camp in Maine, or Bob’s poker nights. She loved fishing and Foxwoods, but she was always quoted as saying that she "raised her girls on The Red Sox and Elton John." Those were her two true passions. She was so excited to attend Elton’s concert in just a few days, with her girls; something she had always wished to do.
She is survived by her two daughters, Lisa and her partner Jason of Tewksbury, and Karen and her husband David of Pepperell; her grandchildren, Darien and Elena; her siblings Mary and her husband Jim, Denise, Stephen, Beverly and her husband Wayne; her brother in law David, her nieces and nephews, her good friends Sheila and Tommy, and of course her beloved dog Elton.
She was predeceased by her twin brother Arthur, and her longtime best friend Teresa.
