Obituary


In Taunton, Barry G. Rose, age 71, passed away peacefully following a lengthy illness at home on July 20, 2022. Barry was born in Taunton, the son of the late Alfred & Ruth (Marchant) Rose.
Barry resided all his life in Taunton. He attended Taunton schools and was a graduate of Bristol Aggie Agricultural School on Berkley. He served his country during the Vietnam War while in the U.S. Army. Barry enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, was a talented arborist and enjoyed yard work, the Patriots football team and spending time with family.
Barry is survived by his siblings; Ronald Rose and his wife Florence of East Taunton, Janice LaBrecque and her late husband Ted of Taunton, Raymond Rose and his late wife Margaret of Taunton, Ruth Ann Rose of Taunton, Helen Peletier of Taunton, David Rose and his late wife Anita of Taunton, Linda Coelho of FL, Debra Faria and late husband Edward of Taunton, the late Alfred Rose and his wife Rose of Taunton, Gerald Rose and wife Dorothy of FL, Philip Rose and his wife Darlene of Taunton, Thomas Rose and his wife Victoria of Taunton, he also leaves several nieces and nephews and niece Jennifer and great nephew Tyler with whom he resided with for 10 years.
A graveside service will be held at the Bourne National Cemetery in Bourne, Ma at 9:30am. on Friday, July 29th. Relatives and friends are invited to meet at O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 at 8:15am or directly at the cemetery at 9:15am.
