In Raynham, July 23, 2022 Ruth A. (Wagner) Howard loving wife of Robert Howard died suddenly in her home. Born in Quincy, Ruth was the daughter of the late Vernon and Grace (Dyer) Wagner. She grew up in Braintree and attended Henry O. Peabody Culinary School in Norwood for food service. Ruth was the cake decorator at many local bakeries including Shaw’s Market and White’s Pastry Shoppe in Brockton. Beyond taking care of the family Ruth was a regular platelet donor at the American Red Cross donating more than four hundred times. She was a member of the YMCA Live Strong Program for Cancer Survivors. Ruth volunteered wherever the kids programs needed help including East Taunton Elementary School, Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts. Ruth and Bob loved to travel including fourteen Disney Cruise Line Vacations. Ruth was the mother of Rob Howard and his wife Stacey of No Attleboro and Elizabeth Damon and her husband Bruce of East Taunton. Grandmother of Jacob and Nathan of No Attleboro and Kyle and Stephanie of East Taunton. Sister of Stephen Wagner of Punta Gorda, FL and the late Barbera Wagner, Donald Wagner and Joyce Kimball. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington Street in Taunton on Saturday, July 30th from 9-11 AM followed by a service at 11 AM Interment will be private.
