Obituary

Edmund F. Butler Jr., 71, of Londonderry, NH, on Friday July 22, 2022, went home to have tea with the Original Big Guy above. His family was by his side to share the moment He was born in Boston, MA on September 23, 1950, a son of Edmund and Mary (Enos) Butler.

Standing at 6ft with broad shoulders and God on his side he was a pillar of strength, kindness, generosity, and classic wisdom. He dedicated 9years of service to the United States Air Force, 20years of service to the United States Postal Service and 71years to his family. Ed said grace at every meal and loved to share God’s blessings with others even if it was just with a wave & his smile, he understood the value of simplicity.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia (Bryant) Butler; son, Edmund F. Butler, III; daughter, Michaela Butler; three grandchildren; Justin Butler, Christopher Butler, and Dylan Butler, one great-grandchild; Elijah Butler, his sister Claire Minor and countless more loving family members. He will be joining his other siblings Robert Butler, Brian Butler, and Gail George.

There will be a public burial held on August 11th at 11:00 am at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy., Boscawen, NH followed by a Celebration of Life at The Farm Bar & Grill located at 1181 Elm Street Manchester, NH.
