In Raynham, Jean Marion Garvin, age 97, passed away peacefully following a period of declining health on July 21, 2022. Jean was born in Hartford, CT., the daughter of the late James & Marcelina (Kenyon) Garvin.
Jean had resided all her life in Taunton, she was educated in Taunton schools. Jean worked for the Commonwealth of MA before her retirement. She was a devoted faithful communicant of St. Andrew the Apostle Church in Taunton. Jean enjoyed painting and was a accomplished artist, she was a caring and compassionate person who loved her family and the time they spent together.
Jean is survived by her godson Jack Shea of Fl, Colleen Doherty and Kristen Bettencourt as close family relatives and other cousins and loved ones.
Funeral from the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA on Wednesday, July 27th from 9:30-10:30am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrew the Apostle Church at 11am. Burial will be in the family lot in St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
