High Point, NC: James A. Luperchio, 71, formerly of Worcester, MA, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He leaves his wife Dianne C. (Ouellette) Luperchio; a son Steven Luperchio and his wife Vikki Tsefrikas of Shrewsbury, MA; a daughter Karen Luperchio and her partner Mark Spurrier of Cramerton, NC; and 5 grandchildren: Adeline Luperchio of Setauket, NY; Nicholas and Stephanie Luperchio of Shrewsbury, MA; Elizabeth Paratore and her husband Anthony Paratore, of Jamestown, NC; and Victoria Rose Scanlon of High Point, NC. He was predeceased by his sister Patricia Luperchio of Worcester, MA.
Jim was born in Worcester, son of the late Pasquale and Nellie (Pisarski) Luperchio. He graduated from Doherty Memorial High School and studied Industrial Electronics at Northeast Institute of Industrial Technology. He proudly served in the Army National Guard for 6 years. He worked as a truck driver for several different trucking companies over the years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, his neighbors, and playing with his granddogs.
A graveside service and burial will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022, at 11:00 am in Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont.
