Obituary

Beverley Jeanne Bentley, 79, went to her heavenly home Sunday, July 17, 2022. She was born February 1, 1943, to James and Gladys Linhart in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Known mostly as Bev, Beverley, Mom and Grandma Bev to many, she loved journeying through life with her devoted husband Dale and adored spending time with all of her family and friends. Whether in person, by phone or on Facebook, Bev loved every opportunity she had to spend with each one.

Professionally, she was a master organizer and administrator, serving in her churches, a hospital, insurance and investment companies and even as the Executive Administrator for a sugar magnate while living in South Florida. Bev also was a lead sales professional for Prudential Insurance.

A talented pianist and soprano, she was a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ in each of the churches in which she served in Pennsylvania (Pine Ave. First Church of God, Cambridge Springs Church of God) Maryland (Accokeek Church of God), Florida (Church in the Gardens) and Indiana (Madison Park Church of God). Bev was best known for her servant’s heart many times shown through her wonderful cooking, baking, organization and leadership, along with her never-ending availability to share words of love and encouragement from God’s Word.

Remembering Bev in life are her beloved husband of 61 years, Dale Bentley; her loving children, Jim (Sherry) Bentley, Tammy (Kerry) Fahey, Barry (Cyndee) Bentley and Greg (Justine) Bentley; her cherished grandchildren; Heather, Amber (Zen), Michelle (Brandon), Ashley, Chelsea (John), Kevin, Shane (Savannah), Jessica, and Tyler; her beloved great grandchildren: Ayla, Levi, Eliorah and Myles.

Beverley was preceded in death by her parents, James and Gladys Linhart and her brothers, Duane Linhart and Dennis Linhart.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a service and celebration of life at Madison Park Church of God – Main Sanctuary, 6607 Providence Dr, Anderson, IN, 46013 on Saturday, July 23rd, 2022 at 11am.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Madison Park Church of God or Indiana Donor Network.
