Shawn P. Tokanel age 20 of Salem, NH, and Laconia, NH died Monday at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinic in Lebanon, NH from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
He was born in Methuen, MA, grew up and was educated in Salem, and attended Salem High School.
Shawn was an Assistant Manager for Namco Pools in Salem, NH. He was a member of St. Matthew Church in Windham, NH. He loved Music, Nintendo Games, and spending time with his little sister Melissa. He also liked dirt bikes, and working on cars with his father.
He was predeceased by his grandfather Peter Tokanel, with whom he resided.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, August 8, 2002 at 10 AM at St. Matthew Church, Windham, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2002 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH.
