Loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother
TEWKSBURY: Eleanor (Cousins) Salipante, age 94, of Tewksbury, formerly of Methuen, Revere and Malden, passed away at D’Youville Senior Care in Lowell on Thursday, July 14, 2022.
She was the beloved wife of 75 years to Alexander A. Salipante, who passed away on May 31, 2022.
Born in Malden on February 21, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Perley Cousins and the late Ethel (Gordon) Cousins.
Eleanor was raised in Malden and attended Malden schools.
Following her wedding on October 26, 1946, she dedicated her life to her husband and raising their four children.
Eleanor is survived by her children, Anthony Salipante (Ellen), of Tewksbury, Antonette Goyette (James), of Tewksbury, Mary Ruggiero, of Saugus, and Joanna Collins, of North Carolina. She leaves eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, many extended family members and friends.
At her request, there are No Calling Hours. Family and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Wednesday, July 20th, at 10 a.m. at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment of her ashes will follow at Lindenwood Cemetery in Stoneham. Please Omit Flowers.
