Nancy Ann Fussell Cook, 68, of Tifton passed away Friday, July 15, 2022, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Liberty Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Tucker officiating. Mrs. Cook will be laid to rest at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Liberty Baptist Church from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Victor Burroughs, Brandon Ward, Craig Barnes, Justin Pitts, Antonio Allen and Austin Vowell will serve as pallbearers.
Born February 21, 1954, in Winter Haven, Florida, Mrs. Cook was the daughter of the late Marvin Fussell and Lucy Griffin Fussell. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. She was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
Mrs. Cook is survived by her husband, James “Wayne” Cook of Tifton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Angela Hughes and Matt and Tomeka Hughes, all of Tifton; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Regina and Cliff Carroll of Gainesville, Tabytha Byrd of Florida and Natasha and John Melton of Fargo; nineteen grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.
