Patricia Ann Sitton, 78, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Pruitt Health in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Evergreen Cemetery, in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Greg Pope officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the graveside at the Paulk Funeral Home in Fitzgerald.
Ms. Sitton was born April 30, 1944, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Ernest & Beatrice King Sheffield. She was a teacher and lived in Valdosta, Georgia, Ft. Worth, Texas and Fitzgerald, Georgia. Ms. Sitton enjoyed poetry and loved flowers. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Fitzgerald.
She is survived by her son, Dave Roberts & Caroline of Jacksonville, Florida; a niece, Bonnie Moore & Tony and a great-niece, Shannon Fountain & Lee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: David M. Sheffield and Ernest Brant Sheffield, Jr. and two sisters: Edith S. Hall and Marlene Parrish.
