Marie (Coyle) Loughrie, 88, passed peacefully on Wednesday July 13th at Ellis Nursing and Rehab in Norwood. She was born on June 20, 1934, in Glasgow, Scotland. Cherished daughter of the late Edward and Marie (Stewart) Coyle. Loving wife to the late Thomas Loughrie.
Marie came to the United States in 1953 settling in Watertown and later moving to Framingham with her family. She was a longtime parishioner of St. George Parish in Framingham. She enjoyed candlepin bowling. She is survived by her daughter, Marie Ruzzo, a son, Thomas Loughrie, and a grandson, Jacob Lewis.
Visiting hours will be held in the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home, 210 Winthrop Street, Winthrop, on Monday July 18th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Her funeral mass will be at St. George Church 74 School Street Framingham, Ma. on Tuesday, July 19th at 10:00am. The family asks that relatives and friends go directly to church. Interment will follow in St. Stephen Cemetery, Framingham.
