LACONIA ---- Douglas Alan Horne, Sr., 61, of Endicott Street North, died Thursday, June 23, 2022, at his home.
Douglas was born on November 8, 1960, in Rochester, NH, to Richard and Ruth (Standhope) Horne.
Douglas was an avid collector and trader. He taught his sons and daughters to see the value where others might not. He touched the life of so many people and will be missed dearly.
Douglas is survived by his children, Tammy Murphy, Shawn Eason, Elizabeth Lagueux, Thomas Stark, Robert Jenot, Amy Horne, Matthew Stark, Joshua Horne, Hunter Horne, Brandon Kenny, and Douglas Horne, Jr.; his brother, Michael Horne, his sister Chipie, and many grandchildren, including three he raised as his own, Arianna Horne, Dylan Gibbins, and Michael Gibbins, Jr. In addition to his parents, Douglas is predeceased by his sister Hopie, his adopted son Gary Wayne Forner, and grandson Bentlee-Havelinn Moss.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 30, 2022, at White Park, 1 White Street, Concord, NH.
