Dorothy Alice Curtin, “Dottie” 88 of Belmont, West Dennis, Worcester and long time resident at Fox Fire Country Club in Naples, FLA, died peacefully in her sleep on June 13, 2022.
She was a resident in the Lillie Mansion at Lutheran Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in Worcester, MA. Dottie was the original “sweetheart” and always will be, to her loving husband, Robert “Bob” Curtin of 69 years. Bob, too, is a resident at Lutheran in Worcester. She was mother to Dorothy Kelly-Grosse, Robert Curtin, Jr., Valerie McFadden, Michael Curtin, William Curtin and the late James Curtin. The only sister to Alice (Nelson) Carmichael. Dottie had the honor of being a great-grandmother, grandmother, aunt and sister-in-law.
Dottie had said to the staff at Lutheran on the day prior to her death, “If life has taught me anything, it’s all about the little things.” With much gratitude from Dottie’s family to the Lutheran family, for providing Dottie the love to be her best self. Services private per her wishes.
