Janice Horner, was born in Tefft, Indiana on May 27, 1930. She was raised in Medaryville and spent her adult years raising and supporting her family in Anderson until her death on July 4, 2022 at age 92.
She spent most of her working years as a registered nurse at St. John's Hospital.
Janice was preceded in death by her husband Richard; her grandparents, Harry and Grace Hibbs, with whom she lived during her childhood; her mother, Opal Stalbaum; four aunts and two uncles, with whom she was raised.
She is survived by her children; Steve (Char) Horner, Donna Persinger, and Scott (Lefko)Horner as well as 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Janice expressed her faith in God for 50 + years at South Meridian Church of God. She quietly shared her love for all people, particularly those who were disadvantaged or in need. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends, but we are comforted that she is finally at home with God, where she will continue her work as a guardian angel.
