Robert Eugene Kenefick 85, of Killdeer Road died Friday July 8, 2022. He passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family.
He was born in Dorchester, MA of the late Francis Kenefick and Frances (Ryba), before moving to Roslindale MA. then Webster.
He is pre-deceased by his loving wife of 57 years, Myrna (McKinstry) and by his two brothers, Walter Kenefick and
John Kenefick, and sister Dorothy (Kenefick) Kershaw.
He is survived by his sister Betty Nolan of Albuquerque, NM and his sister-in-law Mary (McKinstry) Christo of Houston, TX.
He is survived by his children Debra (Kenefick) and Steven Larson of St. Croix, USVI, Michael Kenefick of Bonita Springs, FL
Patricia (Kenefick) and Alfredo Castro of Webster and Somerville, MA, Roberta(Kenefick) and Michael Compson of Columbia, MD.
Grandchildren Ericka (Larson) Kelleher, Alicia (Castro) DeRosa, Katelyn and Victoria Castro, and Kayla Compson.
Great grandchildren: Benjamin, Gunnar, and Ronan Kelleher, and Daniel James DeRosa.
Robert worked for Raytheon Mfg. Co., Sears Roebuck and United Aircraft as Technician/Supervisor before retiring early to enjoy
The family home on Webster Lake. Robert loved living on Webster Lake for the past 60 years and spending vacations in
Florida during the winter months.
His interests included sailing, automobiles, motorcycles, trading stock options, shooting pool and playing shuffleboard with
Friends and spending time with his grandchildren.
There are no calling hours.
The funeral Mass will be Wednesday July 13, 2022 at 10 AM at St. Louis Church, Lake St. Webster (Kindly meet at the church)
Burial will be at St. Joseph Garden of Peace Cemetery, Webster.
The ROBERT J MILLER FUNERAL HOME and LAKE CHAPEL, 366 School Street, Webster is assisting the family with the arrangements.
