Paul T. Lomanno, 71, of Londonderry, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 7, 2022, from complications associated with advanced dementia. He was born on June 15, 1951, in Quincy, MA, a son of the late Dominic and Bernadine (Cicerone) Lomanno. He was the oldest and, according to his siblings, “Mom's favorite.” Paul was born and raised in Quincy, graduating from Quincy High School in 1968. He graduated from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in 1974 and was a member of Phi Delta Chi fraternity. He was a licensed pharmacist for many years, working in various drugstores, including Regional Pharmacy in Wrentham, where he met his future wife, Laurel. He went on to work in medical sales for Eli Lilly & Company and, ultimately, Synthes USA as a medical orthopedic consultant for over 30 years. Known for his sarcastic sense of humor, Paul was well-respected by his peers and the medical staff he served.
He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 49 wonderful years (as Paul would say), Laurel (Plante) Lomanno of Londonderry; two sons, Matthew P. Lomanno and wife Jessica of Hooksett, NH, and Mark J. Lomanno of Reading, PA; and one daughter, Marissa M. Marchegiani and husband Daniel of Malta, NY. He was “Papa” to ten grandchildren: Cecilia, Thomas, Eliana, Anna, Paolo, Maya, Lucas, Nico, Roman, and Anthony. He is also survived by two brothers, David Lomanno of Kingston, MA, and Peter Lomanno of Naples, FL; four sisters, Deborah Doenges of Rutland, VT, Nancy Brandi of Pembroke, MA, Patricia Roche of Hingham, MA, and Diana Pumphrey of Rockland, MA; his two uncles, Anthony Cicerone and Arnold Cicerone; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Geropsychiatric Unit at Elliot Hospital and The Arbors for their care of Paul.
