Charlene E. Haynes, 72, died unexpectedly on July 7, 2022 at Elliot Hospital.
She was born in Cambridge, MA., on July 21, 1949 the daughter of Richard and Barbara (Huelin) Gunn.
She was a long time resident of Manchester. She spent the last three years at Maple Leaf Healthcare Center following her ALS diagnosis two years prior. She sat on the Council as Vice President at Maple Leaf Healthcare Center. Previous to her diagnosis she volunteered at the Food Bank at First United Methodist Church. She also loved the Boston Bruins, Red Sox, playing Bingo, and Winnie the Pooh. She also loved spending time with her family.
Family members include four children; Michele Kelly and her husband, Scott of Manchester, Peter Haynes and his fiancé, Christina of Bedford, Jennifer Haynes of Manchester, Judy Reed of Attleboro. She also leaves six grandchildren; Taylor Mailloux, Eleanor Haynes, Olivia Haynes, Adrian Mailloux, Ben Mailloux, Brianna Versari, one great granddaughter, Gabriella, sisters; Maureen Mannion and her husband, Dave, Christina Goodridge and her husband Gil, Deborah Hibbard and her husband Robert, Joyce Vickers, brothers; Peter Gunn and Donald Gunn. She was predeceased by her sister Janice DeZutter and her brother Richard Gunn.
A funeral service will take place at 10 am in United Methodist Church on Saturday July 16, 2022.
