Leo F. Sennott, a longtime Woburn resident passed away peacefully, Monday, July 4, 2022. He was 87. Leo was the beloved husband for 66 years of Patricia Diana (Daino) Sennott. Born in Boston, Leo was the son of the late Leo A. and Margaret (Sheridan) Sennott.
Leo was raised and educated in the Brighton section of Boston and was a graduate of Northeastern University. He worked for many years as a talented Mechanical Engineer with the former Lewis- Shepard Company of Watertown. He was a member of Knights of Columbus in Brighton and throughout his life he was an avid sports fan enjoying baseball and basketball.
In addition to his beloved wife, He is survived by his children; Leo F. Sennott, Jr. and his wife Susan of Harwich, Richard A. Sennott and his wife Patricia of Derry, NH, Mary DeVita and her husband Robert of Brighton. He was the loving grandfather of Jaime DaSilva, Erica Nolan, Kelly Sennott, Caroline Martin, and Matthew DeVita. He is also survived by two loving great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Woburn, Tuesday, July 12th, at 9 a.m. Followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Barbara Church, 138 Cambridge Rd., Woburn, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, at the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, from 4 to 7 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
