Bart A. Huffman, 65, of Chesterfield passed away at his residence on July 4, 2022 after an extended illness.
He was born on April 24, 1957 to Harold Huffman and Phyllis (Dodd) Lollar.
He was a restaurant manager for many years at Sizzler, Grindstone Charley, and Shout's Pub. He loved music especially classic rock and The Grateful Dead. He was a diehard advocate for the legalization of marijuana for medical use. He was an avid gardener, sports fan, tie dye t-shirts, and loved spending time with his family. His favorite saying was "Peace, Love, and Purple Microdots."
He is survived by his children, Allen Huffman and Mikka (Patrick) Baker; a brother, Bradley S. Huffman; a stepsister, Tina Rector; a special friend, Debbie Huffman; a special caregiver, Martha Little; three grandchildren, Skye, Evah, and Jacsen; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Huffman; his adoptive father, Kenneth Huffman and his mother, Phyllis Lollar.
A celebration of life and dinner will be held from 1:00 - 6:00 pm on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at the Chesterfield American Legion. Please wear your favorite Tie Dye.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Chesterfield American Legion or Stepping Stones.
