PUTNAM, CT – Paul A. Fournier, 74, died Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at home after a long illness.
He leaves his wife of 29 years, Gail S. (Lozinski) Fournier; 2 stepsons, Edward A. Partlow and his wife Sheila of Putnam and Corey J. Partlow and his wife Tina of Monson, MA; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-granddaughters, Briella, Gwendolyn and Kinlee. He was preceded in death by his dear son Terry P. Fournier in 2019 and by his brother Normand. He also leaves his beloved dog Joey.
He was born on January 8, 1948 in Southbridge, the son of Alfred and Theresa (Beaudry) Fournier and raised there. He lived in Lewiston ME and Quinebaug, CT before moving to Chiefland, FL in 2009. He took up residence in Putnam last year.
Mr. Fournier was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was a handle finisher at Russel-Harrington Company in Southbridge for several years before he retired. He enjoyed golf, fishing and occasional trips to the casino. He was a fixture at the Huddle House Diner in Chiefland the 12 years he lived in Florida.
No funeral services are planned at this time. Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, Webster is directing the arrangements.
