On Monday, June 27, 2022, William (Billy) J.H. Metrano, loving father and son, passed away suddenly at the age of 33.
Billy was born September 27, 1988, in Winchester, MA. Billy went to high school at Woburn Memorial High School in Woburn, MA, and Winnacunnet High School in Hampton, NH. He was taking classes to become a drug counselor and taking care of his daughter Fiona Elizabeth Metrano.
Billy's passion recently was being a good father to his daughter Fiona. He cherished being an uncle to Cassius and Clio Metrano. He also loved his bird Petrie, and his dog Jack. He was a collector of rocks and minerals, and rare coins. Billy loved to draw and sketch, as well as write lyrics. While growing up he was an avid basketball player. He was a member of several teams in Woburn, MA, and Hampton, NH.
Billy is survived by his daughter Fiona Elizabeth Metrano. He also leaves behind his loving mother, Darlene Metrano, and his "big brother" Brandon Metrano and his "little brother" Alexander Metrano, all of Woburn, MA. Along with his loving partner and mother of his child, Jackie Saraco of Woburn, MA. He is also survived by his grand-mother Donna Metrano, and his Aunt Dawn Metrano of Woburn, MA and Uncle Billy Joe Gadowski of North Reading. Billy leaves behind his cousins Shannon, Allesandra, Vincent, Vanna, Liandra, Nicholas. There are many more little cousins who were important to Billy. He leaves behind a sister Laurie Wells and nephew Dominic, and brothers Sean and Jesse Hinchliffe. His father Billy Hinchliffe and wife Andrea of Billerica, MA.
He was predeceased by several loving relatives, his grandmother who would have given him the world Diane Barry, and her daughter who brought him into this world Terri Lynn Barry. His uncle George Wells Jr. and his cousin Daniel (Danny) Wells. All formerly of Woburn, MA.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. Woburn, Saturday, July 9th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a prayer service begining at 2 p.m. Flowers or donations may be sent there.
