Joseph Louis Peduto, 66 of Medway died July 5 in Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston following a lengthy battle with cancer. He was the husband of Beth A. (Berset) Peduto for the past 41 years.
Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, June 11, 1956, the son of the late Louis J. and Mary Jane (Marino) Peduto, Mr. Peduto was raised in Pittsburgh and had lived in Medway for the past 46 years.
Joseph had been a mechanical engineer for Columbia Tech for many years and had also worked at Hickey’s Wine and Spirits in Milford.
He enjoyed gardening, traveling , spending time in Maine and being in the company of his family and friends.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Nicholas Peduto of Medway and Emily (Peduto) Prow and her husband Thomas of Tampa, Florida.
He is also survived by his brother Louis Peduto of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Joseph is also survived by his in-laws , Mark Berset and his wife Linda of St. Petersburg , Florida, Teresa Berset of Franklin, Gary Berset and his wife Eileen of Medway, Bruce Berset of Tarpons Springs, Florida and David Berset and his wife Bernadette of Vienna, Virginia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 12 in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, Medway at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Medway.
Calling hours will be on Monday from 4-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
