Kay Feinauer passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 5th following a long battle with dementia. She was 82.
Kay was a devoted wife, a dedicated mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Kay loved God, her husband Harvey of 56 years, her two children, her grandson, her church and this great nation.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Kay. She enjoyed the serenity of her home, all aspects of living a country lifestyle, fall in the white mountains, New Hampshire’s coastline, the changing New England seasons, a good snowstorm, the Holiday’s and politics.
Kay deeply loved and cared for both her immediate and extended family. She greatly valued her friends and neighbors, her personal time in God’s Word, and her time fellowshipping in church. Some of her favorite scriptures included: Psalm 23 and Isaiah 41.10.
Kay was born to Emerson and Natalie Pond on April 09, 1941 and grew up in the family’s West Broadway home in Derry with her brother Russell. After graduating from high school, Kay worked for the First National Bank in Derry until her marriage to Harvey. Together, they had two children: Christopher and Michael.
Kay is survived by her husband, Harvey; her two sons, her grandson Wyatt and several nieces and nephews.
A short graveside ceremony will be held on July 11th at 11:30am at the Forest Hill Cemetery in East Derry. A reception /open house will be held at 71 Island Pond Road, Derry from 1pm – 5pm. The family invites those who knew Kay to visit, share stories and enjoy a grilled lunch.
